Auschwitz is a complex of over 40 concentration and extermination camps operated by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland during World War II and the Holocaust. It is also known as Oświęcim and includes the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.
The Auschwitz concentration camp is trending due to the recent 32nd March of the Living event, which took place on the grounds of the former camp, as well as the upcoming Auschwitz Exhibition in North America, which aims to educate people about the history of the camp and its significance in understanding the modern world.
